Had these on three years now. No problems so far. Coating still looks like new and no discoloration. No leaks or cracks. Supposed to be lifetime warranty. Only time will tell. Last time I checked a set of Tubi headers was over $3500 retail. Seems like a lot to me. These were alot less.

If you are in the market for a set of headers get the ones you want. Let your budget be your guide. Spend alot, spend a little. I'm not saying you should buy Stebro headers. I have no connection with them. For street use there is nothing wrong with the OEM ones. I only put these on to get rid of the smog ports.

The smog ports (air injection nozzles) are in the heads, the bungs in the headers are sampling ports....

Those do look nice, though, without them!!!

I've commented on Stebro before in fchat. I ordered an exhaust for my Dino from them a few years ago (maybe 4+?) got it within a couple weeks, it fit perfectly, sounded great, was about $2200 as I recall. I just looked on their site, the same exhaust is $2500 now, not a bad deal. I have since passed this system on to another fchatter, who installed it on HIS Dino.

Of course if you're looking for EXACTLY correct, you need to get an ANSA. Good luck on that for a Dino, I tried for three years to do that without success.

I later fitted an x-ost system on the car (it's still on the car and in UroTrash's fine hands) because I wanted something a little quieter. It was significantly more money, at least 1.5X, took my mechanic a day to cut, weld and fit, and didn't really sound much different than the Stebro. It did ship faster than the Stebro though.

I don't know Tubi's price. I'm sure it's more than "a few pennies more" and it can't fit better than the one I got from Stebro.

This may vary car to car. I don't know the price of a 360 exhaust from these guys, and feel, at least based on past remarks here, that they serve the classic market better than the modern one, although they may be looking to change that too.

I just felt the need to chime in because I did have a positive experience with them.

We just had a helpfull link in a 308 Section thread, ANSA shows several fitments for the Dino 246, no idea on accuracy.

It was a pretty amazing catalog, I'd never seen it before...in the thread about an FE2040 system.

There was a period ANSA and Ferrari "squabbled" about who "owned " all the old system designs, no parts were available during that conflict....

    Alan,

they show lots of stuff available, but I was told, repeatedly, that they only make a few a year and you need to time it right to get one.

There was a moment, a blink, a millisecond in time where I thought I'd found one. I had a guy, who knew a guy, who heard that another guy had one in stock. I called him and it had sold just a few minutes earlier. :D

    Don't you HATE that!!! :D :D

I order them well ahead for the 308s usually, and then they sometimes call for permission to sell it to someone else and start making my new one.

    They are still definately Italian!

I ordered a Stebro side exhaust for my Healey 3000. It took five months to get a exhaust they listed on e-bay in stock. I wrote a letter to AMEX and sure enough 30 days later POOF it appeared. I love the exhaust but not the customer service.

    Robbie,

I know the product I received wasn't junk. Are you saying yours was, and that the service was lousy too??

I think all these exhausts, new or old, if not fitted at the factory can leave something to be desired. I fitted Tubi tips to my 360 exhaust last year. It took several hours of adjusting from Tony at Algar to get them to fit. Fortunately, I bought them from Algar, so I didn't pay for all the wiggling, just a normal installation fee.

They are still definately Italian! I love it!!!! LOL Italians don't use the same clocks as everyone else. Ask mechanic how long something will take. He says two days. He means three weeks maybe more. LOL : )

I have to admit that I only have one, VERY recent experience with Stebro. On this December 22nd, I ordered their racing exhaust for my '05 612 Scaglietti. It was shipped on the 24th, and due to the Holidays, I didn't receive it until yesterday, WHICH (I think) was a great delivery time considering.

As for the product itself, there were only a couple, minor issues. To mate the exhaust to the factory piping I had to go to my local auto parts shop to find a suitable doughnut gasket; no problem. The right-side exhaust has two dents on the top-side of one of the tips which I'm certain did not happen during shipping. The exhaust came in no box, tons of bubble wrap only, and the bubble wrap was not penetrated or damaged where the dents are. Luckily, when fitted to my car, these dents are not visible. So, no problem.

The sound??!! Absolutely AMAZING! I've been disappointed in the factory sound of my 612 for some time now. Yes, I know this car was built to be a Ferrari badged cruiser... a GT car; but hey.... it IS a Ferrari, and the noise (IMO) should NOT be bottled up! This racing exhaust has NO mufflers; a HUGE difference considering the massive size of the factory silencers. And the power??!! This is truly the first time I've ever "felt" the difference in power from a simple bolt-on. From over-sized silencers to no silencers obviously makes a big power difference on this v12!

So, I don't know. Maybe I was lucky? Nevertheless, I love my exhaust, and I'd buy from them again (thinking about headers).

Dear Genyosai, you have purchased this exhaust from Authorized Distributor i believe, if i may...dents are from the shipping 100% because on a video of the exhaust that was made for you - there was no dents, i'm sure, double check please. There will be more carton used on the packing, it makes it more resistant to drops and god knows what the shipping companies do with the packages :)

It was great to hear your response.

    Best Regards, Serge

Dear Genyosai, here is the video of the exhaust before it was wrapped, here you can see very clear that there was no dents on a tips on ether right or left side :

    http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=w_PClCSOjwk&vq=large#t=55

The bubble wrap is not to be trusted anymore, NOW there will be protective rack, thick carton on a top of it protecting the tips, bubble wrap, another carton on top and another bubble wrap.

As far as DELIVERY TIME - ITS NOT LUCK, IT'S A QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARD FROM AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR.

All the best to you in 2011!

Thanks your kind words Michael B, i hope Genyosai does not get upset because of my ''Clear Get to the Point'' words, he is making HD video sound clip of the exhaust installed on his car, sounds like something i definitely wanna hear :)

As far as production - i got my people there now to implement my ideas, and that is 16 Gauge 304 Stainless Steel Mirror Polished Cans and 304 MP SS Mandrel bent pipe for Ferrari and other exotic car brands. I am doing full impact in production myself, and that means i check every exhaust purchased from distributor that comes out and let me tell you, i got one picky eye. I want happy customers and happy dealers period.

    Best Regards, Serge

    Hi, Sergiy.

I've already paid it, but FYI, I received a shipping/US Customs Duties bill from UPS in the amount of $57.63. Was I supposed to? I didn't see in the online purchasing terms that buyer was to pay shipping/Duties. No worries, I'm just giving you a little more feedback. So if I indeed was to pay shipping, please be sure to include in your online shipping terms that buyer pays shipping.

    Thanks,

Dear Customer, shipping is payed for in full by the distributor, what you are getting - is import charges, duties, everybody who import anything - has to pay import duties.
Once i ordered extremely expensive protector, payed 4500$ for it, and after, in order for me to pick it up i had to pay 450$ CAD !?!?! I WAS LIKE WHAT! These are the 10% duties of the import. Many people who purchase the product from different country don't know about import duty, SO what i will do is put more information about it in the terms and conditions. Import duties are made to keep the economic structure of the country in balance + to get money from the people for the imports, you know, usual stuff...
You can do the math now and call it a favor.

All the best to you in 2011.

As far as Canadian imports to USA - there is free trade agreement in action, so there is only brokerage fee and taxes on a top of the purchased price, no import duty.
These are the things lot's of people don't know about.

Hey. Better late than never :) I took this is 1080p, but I've converted it down not knowing what formats everyone could support. I'm linking a .mov and a .wmv. The .mov is better quality yet only about 8mb in size.

I indulged a little... the other cars were spread around my driveway :D

I ordered a system for my '95 Audi S6. They sent the cheap half, and claim that the other half must have been lost in shipment. Said they would call me back, and that's the last I ever heard from them. Now I cannot get a hold of them at all. Looking at the facts, I would surmise that they are selling whatever parts they have, and if your order is for parts they don't have, they'll still take your money, and you may or may not ever get it.

Funny how they kept saying my Visa card wouldn't work. The card had just had a problem, so like a fool, I believed them, and paid through paypal instead. Really bad move on my part. Visa would have gotten my money back - with paypal I'm screwed.

Out of the blue, Dan called me this morning and promised that the rest of my system will be ready on Thursday and shipped post haste. Will report as this unfolds.
