    Ok, I am officially on the lookout for a deal on a Wempe Zeitmeister Moonphase triple date.

    Anyone have any idea if Wempe in NYC will discount from MSRP? Or any other suggestion/leads?

    Been to Wempe in NY several times. Never knew they put their name on a watch. There is a name for that. I can't think of what the term is. In fact, Thats how the Carl F. Buchererer brand was created. It started as a jewelery store

    Nice looking watch btw. What is the msrp?

    Wempe has a Watch factory in Glashutte. Most use ETA but they are moving up more and more.

    MSRP is a reasonable ~$3000.

    It's private label if someone else makes the watch and you put the name on the dial. Tourneau sells many watches like this.

    Went in there one day to look at an IWC. As soon as it was taken out of the case without me saying a word the gentleman who was showing me the watch said i can take 10% or20% off. Dont remember exactly how much.
