I think the 2nd car from left is 0557GT. The one on far right is 0471SA. How do you tell 0597GT and 0629GT apart? Best wishes, Kare
Do you think the pic was made before delivery of the car? The first owner was austrian Gotfrid (mostly spelled in the usual but wrong way "Gottfried") Köchert.
Assistenza Clienti was made for used cars. BTW : the 500 TR/C Scaglietti spyder on the pic is not 0686MDTR. It's 0668MDTR !!

Last picture is Belgian GP 1962 - must be after the race, judging from the flat-spotted tyres and body damage on Phil Hill's car s/n 0009 #9. I'd guess the Ferrari mechs are looking for a shovel to scoop up what was left of Mairesse's burned-out car..... Paul M
Came across this as I was archiving my dad's 35mm motor racing slides. Taken at Mid-Ohio, but I can't remember the year. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks. I think these and the 250 LM photo are from the Can Am race in 1969. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Confirmed, definitely Mid-Ohio 1969. LM is 5995 as Boudewijn stated brought by Dick Merritt. The dark blue or black 250GTE 2+2 should be 3111GT of Paul Elbert. The silver 275GTS was probably owned by a Mr. Tom Clark, but I don't have the S/N. THe 250GT Tour de France right next to the silver 275GTS is 0967GT of Warren Fitzgerald. Best -Jarrett
Lino Fayen at the 1000 kms de Buenos Aires 1956 in 0440, what is the small door in front of the windshield for? branko Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Driver comfort. It opens up and allows air to enter the cockpit when the car is in motion. Ciao, Bill
Thanks Bill, let me rephrase the question, this is the first time I see this type of door, maybe i didnt look enough. Does 0440 has that door today? branko
