Is it time to buy an Enzo?

Just looking at pistonheads and see 8 Enzo's listed for sale. Can anyone tell me why Monks Heath Motors have a 2004, 1043 miles Enzo for sale at £725,000 while HR Owen have a 2004, 6,050 miles Enzo for sale at £850,000. Is there something wrong with the cheaper Enzo or simply main dealers more expensive?

Would it be feasible to buy in the UK, bring to US for a year or so then back to UK?

 

HRO is a 1 owner UK car (and its a well known car) - thats why they think its worth more

 

Only if you are not a US citizen.

 

I have not seen the Monks Heath car but it appears to be good value. The HRO car is expensive, I don't think they will sell it for more than 750k
Prices for Enzos appear to be dropping... High mileage cars are changing hands below £600k and I think one can buy pretty much any low mileage car for £800k or so... The pound is stronger so this has helped sterling prices come off, but I think there is also a bit of a lull in the Market as the world prepares for the new super car in 12-18 months' time

I also think that the new supercar won't be much more than current Enzo prices... Call it 800k EUR plus taxes. This puts a cap on Enzo prices

Does anybody have more pictures of this vehicle because this happens to be my favorite Enzo. Also, does anybody know of any other US spec Enzo's in the Black/Red color way. Thanks.

That's quite a large ticket. For that I’d hope its south of 1100kg, wet. Hopefully curvaceous, not an F117 look a like.

Any guesstimates on numbers to be produced? Im thinking 499 limited edition, with a cheeky extra 70 or so on top.

It's black with red leather, red gauges, large seats, the 70th Enzo made for the US, likely delivered at the end of September, 2003. This car came up for sale in September, 2006, with 7,000 miles, asking $1.1MM.

There are other Enzos in the US in this color combination; one that was last seen on Long Island; there's another one here in California but not on California plates; and then there are a few others that are black with a black and red interior.

I do believe the Black Enzo with Red Interior seen on Long Island is Larry Gagosian's Enzo, which was one of the first Enzo's shipped to the United States..... Larry was good friends with Roffredo Gaetani D' Aragona before he passed away, and was able to be one first in the US to get an Enzo...... but again, this is what I have been told, cannot confirm if this is accurate.

I myself believe this is true because the Gagosian Gallery is one the top Art Galleries in the World, a guy who can sell a Jackson Pollack painting for $70+ million I would suspect has the right connections to be first in line to get an Enzo...... ;-)

The Black on Black Enzo that was at Steve Harris (Bruce's Enzo with 13k miles) Sold for $1.0 m and is now in Spain with it's new owner.

I cannot track down the story on the Black/Black Enzo in Westchester NY, any inside info ??

 

As usual, you are correct. Larry's Enzo was the first to come to the United States. When it arrived at Ferrari of Long Island, Larry was away and therefore couldn't take delivery. After a while, FNA called Gaetani and said Larry needed to take delivery of the car as other Enzo deliveries were being held up because of it.

While I believe that Enzo is still in New York - or at least on the east coast - I can't confirm if Larry still owns it.

While it's best known as Pharrell Williams' Enzo, 134282 had two owners before Pharrell owned it. And the other Enzo in said Beverly Hills private collector's collection was 134281 - consecutive black Enzos!

But alas, he no longer owns 134281, and I believe it's still available on the open market.
