Great looking car HenryR! Something must be 'going around' because...

I recently called a guy (dealer) who'd bought my 993tt some years back to see if he could find me another.

Turns out he had a 2 owner, 86 3.2 Carrera Targa, in Meteor Gray, light gray leather, 41k pristine, fully serviced miles. Dead stock. Original to the nth degree. Window sticker, books, the whole bit.

By the end of the phone call, I owned it. Picked it up Friday. A great car. Simple, easy, reliable, fun. Good choice!

I agree. And 1982 was the first year that the turbo rear spoiler ("Tea Tray") was a factory option on the SC.

The 915 transmission needs to be shifted carefully. The drivetrain should last another 100K miles.

gorgeous car, looks good, drives good, whats not to like with those?? Enjoy!

just my opinion, but losing the turbo tail might clean it right up real nice! without the turbo flares, the turbo tail just kinda 'overwhelms' the look

Nice car, only thing that faults it imho is the rear turbo scoop, but that's all. I do dig the wheel color scheme by a lot, quite '80s but very fitting. Congrats!
