i dont have one but i would use shell
I tow mine for every fillup to Mario Alberto Puccinelletti's gas station, about 60 miles away. They know how to to properly open the locked side window of my 308 while they drape a soft sheepskin towell over the fuel inlet. They put plastic seat protectors in place when they crawl in and clean my windows from the inside while another guy dusts the car....That's where I fill up!
Mostly Chevron (sometimes Mobile) However, I have two 55 gallon drums in my garage, one with 104 Oct and the other with 107 Oct, both unleaded. Mix ratio per fill-up is 5:1. My Ferrari 360, BMW X5 4.4i & 328Ci, 2 Ducati 996s, Mercedes E430 etc gets the 104, while my Supercharged BMW 540i needs the 107 to prevent the engine from pinging on high RPM. kind of wish there's a local gas station with 104/107, but unfortunately not. I speculate in commodities by buying 3 barrels of unrefined Venezuelan crude at a time. My neighbor has converted his airconditioning ducts into distillation chambers and 107 octane comes out of his upstairs bathroom window. It's convenient for washing up if there's an accidental spill. Unfortunately I don't have a Ferrari to put it in at the moment. In order to get one, I am thinking of speculating in currency with some rolls of quarters. People say I should start off with nickels and dimes, but I want to make a big splash.
All gas is basically the same. It is strictly regulated by the government. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter if I buy it at Exxon or the Kwik-E-Mart, whatever is cheaper. Correct me if this is a myth...
Very true Here's a little story. I think Mobil sponsors Porsche. My friend's Porsche dealer told him he should only use Mobil when he fills up because they have the best gas. He didn't believe me when I told him 93 otane at Mobil is the same as 93 octane at Joe's Gas and Bait shop.
I usually use chevron or mobil.I don't know about your areas, but here in miami, shell is usually 10 cents more per gallon premium.I know it's a Ferrari sponsor but just like alot of Ferrari sponsors, alot of times is overpriced just for the association.
Since I've got quite a bit of family that visits Italy often, my car is able to run on a steady stream of AGIP gas for that they regularly bring back for me. Hey! Italian cars should run on Italian gas...imported from Lybia!! LOL!!
Partially true. In many cases, the different stations all source their gasoline from the same exact place. However, the additive packages are different. I try to use Chevron as often as possible... Techron being the best additive package. I will occasionally use a 93 octane Shell, Exxon, or Mobil. I will NOT touch Citgo gas... got bad gas once... cost me some bucks to fix the damage... I've been known to pass a Citgo when on 'E' at great peril. And I will NOT touch off-brand gas... certainly not in my F-car.
The number on rule with gas is use a station that has high sales volume, the tanks for less busy stations aren't filled as much or left low and condensation is the result which is also the #1 cause of bad gas. Gas comes from very few refineries, Amoco, Shell ect just put the additive in. Often the Shell station is that less busy station.
Sunoco -- Ultra 93 station corner my street price $164.00 for Regular forget what Ultra was last time I filled up Ferrari.
