Wow lmao. Just goes to show how hard it is too pass in these cars and now we will have rapidly deteriorating tires to through in the mix... Back on thread-senna a second slower so it looks like nick although it would have been nice to see luizzi get a shot also.
Russian GP in Sochi - 2012. Just a guess. Wasn't there an article that Putin was involved in the Sochi negotiations? Anyone naive enough to think Petrov's name didn't come up?
Kimi's been busy... Wednesday, February 2, 2011 Kimi Räikkönen sets up his own motocross team On Thursday rally driver Kimi Räikkönen will officially present his own motocross team, which will take part in next season's championship The Ice1Racing team has two Finnish riders, Toni Eriksson, 24, and Ludde Söderberg, 20. The pair from Vantaa will compete in the MX1 class, which is the premier class in the World Championship. The team will use Kawasaki motorcycles and the team leader is seven times enduro champion Kari Tiainen. Räikkönen has won the world championship title in F1. Räikkönen as a child has already dreamt of motocross even though he became a successful track and rally driver. The purpose of the team is to offer young people and gifted Finnish riders a path to the top of the series. There are also junior riders in the team. Räikkönen will participate in a World Championship series next season but in a completely different discipline. He participates in the World Rally Championship series with a Citroën DS3 car.
Look given its only for a year why not try to blood a new driver(someone that has obviously been a test driver for a while). There are tonnes of up and comers. Reason is it is on ly a one year deal, maybe even only a half season deal. Or how about Scott Dixon if he can get time out of his current contract(maybe unlikely).
From what I have heard, Heidfeld will be in the seat. There should be announcement this week. Lets hope my sources are right.
Nohing new: I said that several days ago in post 58. The team spilled the beans to reporters from speedweek.
