hello everyone i have i think a little problem with my 348 maybe its nothing at all . I tuk my car for mot all was fine when it went in then when it came out i was told there is a water leak so i look under car and it must of just happened but it was coming out of the overflow pipe on radiator tank now i noticed also the radiator fans arnt kickin in until temp is 3 quaters up normaly dont they kick in till just past half way ?? i also turned engine on again let it warm up then tuk the radiator cap off and water was coming out the over flow pipe again is this normal any help advice would be great please help john
you can listen the fan´s when the temp gauge is in the medium just ? the mine, when the temp gauge is in the medium the fans are on 1 minute about
Sounds like the radiator cup is not working or the water is overheating. Are the radiator fans in front of the rear wheels coming on when the car is just idling and the temperature climbs? Kai
Check your temp sensor, sounds like it might have failed, and not bring on the radiator fans. Or you thermostat isn't opening soon enough. And never open the radiator cap hot.......of course it will boil out.... You passed the MOT inspection? Slow down and use a little punctuation.
