    Hi Linda,

The lemonheads are lucky to have you guys as track operators at ECR who are both gracious hosts and lemons racers! As you know, Lemons tech inspections are no joke! Jay and crew don't take much very seriously, but technical and safety inspections (and clean driving) are taken very seriously. Which you know since you guys have buily and raced a lemon! But, they don't issue logbooks, instead, they inspect each car before each race and apply a tech scrutineering approval sticker on the car. Our team is based in Sanger, and have several cars which have campaigned in several lemons races, and as such, have passed lemons tech several times and will again in a couple weeks.

Your Stampede event sounds like a great track time opportunity at a convenient location for us. If there is some tech inspection procedure that accommodate lemons teams who have passed our series' tech scrutineering multiple times, we are interested.

But having dealt with event insurance issues in the past as an FCA event organizer, I know there can be procedural requirements based placed on events by the underwriters, and underwriters fear the unknown, so if logbooks are required, and we don't have them, then that's the end of that discussion!

This looks like a great event, if I had an able car, I'd be there - maybe next year.

Good luck with it, but I'm sure it will be a big success.

    Hi Dave,

After reading your reply I consulted with the event committee (the team), and for next month's race it is late in the game to add the Canyon Crapcan Shootout, (I like the sound of that). Nevertheless thought will be put into it for the future!
Are you and the team running here in April?

    Cheers,

    Linda

Still no info on registration or info on car classifications? With PCA and NASA events within 2 week of this event, it's kind of important to get us more info before we commit to the other events ...
