How long did most owners wait for their 458??

I was wondering how long the average 458 owner waited on a dealer list before taking delivery. I wasn't able to find a slot for 18 months so I didn't end up going through my local Ferrari dealer. I wanted to see what other owners have experienced. Thanks.

I was told that they did track test for Challenge Stradale when I took delivery, and was told that they didn't do so on standard 360 Modena. (Not that any of it is true or untrue.) That I could just drive it when I took delivery. I still took it easy the first 150 miles or so.

I assumed that the 458 wouldn't be as it is not a track model as Challenge Stradale. (I skipped the Scuderia) So I am following the 1000km break-in at below 5000 rpm per manual.

Is is PAINFUL. It is PAINFUL.

VERY PAINFUL.

That breakin period is for you not the car. Get on it so it knows what to expect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
