I'm looking at a 2008 Scud, red/black with 2k miles. It's at a Ferrari dealer and has all the records. No wrecks or paint work. Options: Carbonfiber door sills Red calibers Alcantara upholstery iPod connection Stripe Stitching Orginal MSRP was $295,524 Thanks, Bill
Seen 3 Scuds sell in the last week, all 08's. $285k sticker for $210k, $273 Sticker for $200k and a $303k sticker for $219k. The car for $210k had only 800 miles on it.
Maybe a year ago? Why would anyone pay those prices when there are many cars on the market with "Buy It Now" prices significantly lower than that?
sample of ASKING prices from Ferrariapproved.com 2008 Red 1,288 miles $219k 2008 Black 765 miles $219k 2008 Red 2,125 miles $199k 2008 Red 2,300 miles $219k 2009 Red 4,024 miles $197k
I spoke to 2 different dealers and wholesalers, and both told me pretty much the same thing. Lots on the market because higher production numbers and 160-165K for a nice car. That was what the "I will write you a check right now" price so retail is a little above.
I've been watch the prices for the last month or so (with the possibility of trading my CS for a Scuderia)..there seems to be a premium for '09s with the Carbon Fibre package. Premium seems to be around $10k to $15k on the retail side. Any dealer thinking they are selling theirs for $250+ is delusional. I personally don't care that a Scuderia costs, I am only concerned with the price gap between a good CS and a Scuderia.
