The car was bought by a German buyer. He wants to paint the car black and to do the interior in beige, the side markers will go too...
    Customised Dino.

Ed sold me my '74 GTS back in '84. I test drove it with him and I was so excited I kept forgetting about fifth gear. We were cruising along at 7,000 rpm and he calmly mentioned there was another gear left to use. He asked for a deposit and all I had on me was $60. He said that would buy him a decent dinner and I got the car a couple of weeks later. Didn't know squat about Dinos back then but the car was a good one.

Yes, Matthias - like Shawn asked, which Dino are you referring to? If it is # 08514, that is pretty damn bad, since that Dino was in excellent shape, and once the kind of work you have described is done to it, you can't go back.

I am fortunate to have been in the position to buy #8514 from Shawn at Exclusive Motors. My experience was excellent. The car is spectacular and I plan on keeping it as it is. In addition I also have purchased #8510 the 2nd to last flair and chair car. It is also original. Both cars have gone through the Classiche certification program. I read the threads before I turn in for the night and I want to thank all who "chat" for their knowledge and insight into these amazing cars.

I had been looking for quite a while for a nice Dino. The silver one came on the market first and when I got a PPI and did a history check on the car, it turned out to be just what I was looking for. The car is all original, a former Cavalino preservation platinum winner, and the chain of ownership was clear. In addition I had the pleasure of speaking to the previous owners and mechanics about the car.
The flair and chair car is red/black and is also an original 25,000 mile car. I was offered the car the day after I closed the deal on the silver car, and could not pass on the opportunity to own 2 of the last 5 Dinos made.

WOW, Congratulations on BOTH cars! Sounds like 2 great original low mile examples.

    All the best,
