Unless this massive upgrade brings a full second+ I have to agree. It would be an honest to Jesus miracle and Brawn/Schu/MB would appear to be F1 racing geniuses.

If they change the tub, can they make 4 of them before Melbourne? They'll need 4. One to crash test, two to race and one spare...

Are McLarens still running Mercedes engines?. I thought this year they were going to run "McLaren" engines.

McLaren's new road going supercar, the MP4-12C, has a McLaren engine (dubbed M838T) developed in conjunction with Ricardo, and produced by Ricardo for them at their new Shoreham by Sea facility. It's a 3.8L Twin Turbo V8 that makes 592hp.

The McLaren Formula One cars will continue with Mercedes Benz power through at least the 2015 season in a deal that was signed around the time that Mercedes acquired the Brawn F1 team.
