Mine is in Qatar. I am interested on how to repair the chrome trim though. I assumed it was plastic. Is it actually metal? The trim is fine but has no chrome shine left on it.

 

If i remember correctly, mine was made of brass and i had it rechromed.

Definitely metal, chromed, unless some bright soul installed trim by the yard. Simon, you might have to build a sturdy box (look at mine on my Dino resto.) and have it re-chromed elsewhere, as in Qatar... Mine went from El Salvador to SFO to Quincy IL., back to SFO, to Miami, to El Salvador. Not fun.
How is the rear glass trim?

Rear is fine, it is just the front that needs work
