Friends, I live in a highrise and unfortunately can't hand wash my Ferrari. Would anyone know of an exterior hand wash place in Tyson's or closer to DC/Alexandria area that you'd approve of?
    Thanks

A lot of large car wash facilities in Maryland have bays where you can hand wash your car. Doesn't VA have these too? If not, drive North a little.

If its just a quick wash & dry and you're in Tysons, go to Champion Hand Wash at the corner of Rt 7 and 123. Here's the address:

8218 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA 22182
    tel: (703) 893-4216

Its a drive through hand car wash i.e., hand lather, mechanical water spray, hand dry, but they'll do the whole thing by hand on their lot (without having to go through the drive through) as well if you pay them a little extra.

If you want a more thorough spring cleaning, I would call Chris (DetailGuy on Fchat) and have him take care of you. Depending on his schedule he is mobile and can come to you. And there are plenty of Fchatters who are local to Tysons who wouldn't mind you using their driveway to give your Ferrari a quick wash.

Maybe try ONR? I hear that it works really well and it will not scratch your paint if used properly.

I agree if you want a good cleaning that will last and you don't drive the car much, give Chris, DetailGuy a pm and get the job done.

If you wanna nice ride out to Gainesville, feel free to use my drive and I have all the stuff for a great wash.

I offer a hand wash program, weekly/bi-weekly and monthly options and come to your home/office or anywhere, I do mainly all pretty high end stuff and use a 2 bucket method with grit guards to protect your paint from any dirt/grime being left behind. Feel free to give me a call for any questions, I have an enclosed trailer with water and electric.

Look forward to hearing from you!

^^^ Best In Business. Has done many of my cars, and I've referred him to many friends who have decided to book him with his bi-weekly wash and wax. His prices are unbeatable and the hard work and ethic really makes up for the money he receives. A+ , 10/10 for me.

I'd be interested if anyone does this in the Montgomery County area of Maryland.

He posted all the information, but since he is not a sponsor it was taken off. You don't have to do the BI-Weekly. I call in 2days before I want a wash and he shows up does his magic.

I use the detailers at Tysons Two Mall. Drop the car off front row parking, grab some lunch and you're car is looking good!
