Ferrari Owners Group (FOG) different than the Ferrari Club?

Its pretty much like a Biker Gang except with hotter chicks. And wine instead of beer. And Ferraris instead of Harleys.

Where have you been for the last two years? It appears they have the most trafficked thread in the state of California. I didn't know "gangs" were now driving Ferraris. Judging from your encounter with a password page it seems it is by invitation, no? Perhaps you should query the members themselves on their own thread. You might get more direct answers to your inquiry.

 

Buxton, FOG is great group of people ( who happen to be Ferrari owners). You've got to follow our thread and you'll see what i'm talking about. Some are FCA members and some are not. All have a passion for the Marque and the lifestyle that these fine machines bring along with it. Meetings are regular enough to the point that strong relationships and friendships have been formed. Many of us feel thankful for the lifestyle we live and thus we have the strong desire to be involved in increasing awareness and contributing to charitable
endeavors. This is the somewhat formal window of explanation of what FOG has become. otherwise, what sledge and jm3 said was was pretty accurate.

Greetings Buxton,
I'm one of the newer FOG guys... I moved out here from Florida where I had helped form a club of like minded owners - the SSC.... We went on drives, and had lots of informal dinners, etc. The FCA has some rules and regulations about drives and get-togethers... some of the guys were in the FCA... some were not because of the dues and politics.
The Florida FCA Region discussed making us a chapter, but we didn't want to be.
I heard about the FOG from an FCA guy who transfered east and I started communicating with them via the chat before I shipped my cars out to Roseville to stay with my incredibly awesome GF...
The FOG is fantastic... no pretentiousness (can't believe I spelled that rite..write...right the first time.... )
They love to drive and it is well worth it for my GF and I to drive over from the Sac area, spend the night in a hotel, and drive with this group the next day.... Yes, I am still in the FCA, and the FCA does put events together, but it seems difficult for them to 'sanction' a friendly drive. The fun drives are just part of the many benefits of the FOG.... If you're lucky, you can be in the cool videos made too !!

Ditto. A generous offer by our fearless leader but you might want to come with me first or follow me first...trust me. But seriously some of us like to drive with spirit and some of us like to cruise and some of us are in between and one of us is Dr. Italiani . No stress and no pressure with this group or egos. Drive as you may, get to the destination and have a great breakfast with even better people. That's what its all about, the cars and the people. Hope to see you! Oh man, I wish I was up in the Bay Area. I would join you guys in a second. As keeper of the events post, I lurk through your threads all the time. It really sounds like you guys have a fun group there.

Maybe I'll make a guest appearance on the off chance I do an install for a customer in the area

 

Hey Chris, you are welcome to join us anytime. We will likely have some SoCal guys joining the rally. We hope to have a nice SoCal contingent driving down with us. Spread the word!

Let us know if you're interested in setting up a CXC Simulation machine for the event at the Century Plaza Hotel. It would be great for the guys to demo the machine during cocktail reception before the actual dinner. We would likely be able to set up an area for this in our large Banquet room. Let us know.

Thanks for the offer for the CP party..... I'l have to ponder that one. Even better would be for you guys to stop in our shop. We have a big showroom and shop full of simulators to play with. It just means we can put more people in the simulators in a shorter amount of time
