    Why are they making fun of it?

    Looks like a nice house to me. And if you don't have 4 cars, that leaves a lot of space for tools, benches, lawn equipment, etc.

    Can you link to swamplot thread? And what is swamplot?

    www.swamplot.com is a website focusing on Houston real estate and architecture. It's usually very informative about what new things are being built around town. But apparently they don't consider a four car garage a sufficiently significant design feature. Poor unenlightened bastards.

    why are people making fun of it? I think it looks really nice. You could never find a house that nice/large in my neighborhood for $400k.
