    Well, good question.

    But I think it was the model-manufacturer who made the Boneschi and sold 10 (or sio) examples to Maserati.

    hmm hard to imagine that the manufaturer's marketing team would come up with the idea of a Boneschi...

    maybe an owner commissioned the construction? interesting...

    Model manufacturers of small series are producing more the rare versions of cars as the common, standard versions that you also get from many other model makers.
