Starting at 1:23 is what an NSX should sound like! Owned by some NSX Prime members, and some of the nicest people I have met. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRuJWx-1K6k[/ame] Chris
Thanks Chris, but if all NSX's sounded like the evil purple one.....they would summarily be rounded up and exterminated as the 'menace 2 society' they truly represented ;^D Brian
In the south Florida group we have Nsxter with the most beautiful Long Beach Blue pearl NSX, Dlynes (now in GA) with a really nice metallic yellow one, Oscardriver with a heavily modded red NSX, and a few less active Fchatters... BT Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
S. FL NSX Crew REPRESENT!!! Here's some shots of Dave's (Dlynes) Spa Yellow Pearl NSX-T I shot for him in Tampa. Also, this is probably one of my top 3 favorite automotive videos. It's amazing. Please take the time to watch the whole thing if you haven't seen it yet. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53c6o_cNPEo[/ame]
The production of that video was fantastic! The music was very dramatic (and was actually music!) The only thing is I think the driving scene was too short and took too long to arrive. Very intense though, I liked it! Chris
Just a bump with a teaser picture for Chris, a freshly powdercoated wheel on the purple NSX ;^D Brian Image Unavailable, Please Login
I figured this deserved its own standalone video! Crank your speakers!!! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfHZ4p9-pqw[/ame] Chris
Had wanted one for a while. Finally found a 3.2, 6 speed, in Kaiser that seemed to fit. Snagged it off ebay. So far, a very fun, very rewarding car. The 3rd gear pull, wonderful sounds, and vault like reliability a big part of the charm. Wheels are 19s, 18s, and will not be on the car after this weekend. Getting the OEM versions, new tires, but here's as it sits now... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Watched it. Great production for a video, but LOST me as an "automotive video." Please give me back the 12 seconds of watching some doofus in sunglasses holding a cell phone. Music can be nice, in fact, I love it. If I'm looking to appreciate an automobile, I don't need or want to watch someone playing a violin or piano. Forgive me, but put that production value into a documentary/descriptive video solely focused on the car with an appropriate voice over and I'll not only watch it, but even pay for it!
Wow, thanks folks! I got my OEM wheels tonight, turns out they're 'gunmetal' which amost a dead match for this car, but the more I look, I think it needs the contrast of the 'blades' silver (a more traditional wheel color). The car really is a blast to drive, handles ridiculously well.
I did it. I bought a "new" NSX this week... White....genuine one owner..."virginal"...58k miles...'92 model (no BS passenger-side air bag taking away from the glove compartment)...totally 100% bone stock...full, and I mean FULL records from original & OCD, anal-retentive owner her entire life, factory car cover in original bag, dash mat (not needed) front bra (also includes side mirror bra covers - never seen those before), extra power antenna thrown in (the original is "sticking" sometimes in going down), new trunk struts, new clutch about 2,000 miles ago, EVERY book on the NSX including (yes, even the "surprise" follow-up-to-your-new-purchase technology breakdown book), NEVER WRECKED, all original, all the keys (never used titanium key), meticulously maintained, no oil or fluid leaks, has dealer-added remote power door lock entry with both fobs & "pleather" covers...can I get any better than this?!?!? Drives like a brand new car...and still smells exactly the same...I'm in heaven. PS: Could use some new rear tires...but I'm not *****ing at this point. Owner here... '02 Berlina blk/blk. Absolutely love it, and drive it as much as possible. Approaching 100k miles and not one hiccup... just regular maintenance from new. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nick & George, nice looking cars you have there! George, how about a comparison in driving dynamics to the 308 (maybe after you get some new rear tires) ??? Brian
