I'm also gonna sell my Schedoni luggage for the F355 but don't have any decent pics yet - so haven't posted the ad. PM me if you're interested. Never used, all the keys, cardboard inserts, and canvas bags comes with the 5 piece set.

Never! Well, at least not if I can help it...

Just shedding the wheels and luggage as I find I don't use the wheels enough and I've never used the luggage. I have another full luggage set for my Testarossa that will see action later this spring on the drive to Monterrey.

PS Thanks for all the PMs. I'll try to get pics/ad posted for the luggage this morning.

OT question for the wheel gurus - why do some of the Speedline Challenge wheels have a tapered area around the lug nut holes (like Rick's) and others have a flat plane where the lug nuts go (like CarreraScott's)? Is this a difference between the 348 and 355 versions?

They're stickers. I have them, just didn't put them on after the repaint.

Fwiw, carrerascott has his stickers on the wrong spoke. They go on the 2nd spoke to the right of valve stem.

Quite interesting detail, Eric. I was also pinged offline by another member who believes they are essentially different models of wheel altogether.

I went to Speedline's website and viewed the close up pics of their 2017 Le Mans style wheel aka Ferrari Challenge wheel. The wheel model pictured on their website definitely has a different lug nut hole. When I zoomed in on the rim markings of wheel depicted on Speedline website - they are 100% identical to mine (I just went to garage to confirm).

Pure speculation ... but I wonder if they slightly modified the wheel for actual Challenge cars??

Any Speedline geeks out there know the answer?

Lol. Sorry, I'm just super anal retentive. I searched for months for the right stickers and confirmed the placement ... and then didn't put them on. Anybody know a good shrink?

Here's a shot of my car with the Challenge Wheels on at first Auto-X (which I won!!). These wheels are *magic* and you'll get that competitive advantage all at no extra charge from me. ;)

When the 348C was running speedline made a 348C wheel. It was more angular in the spokes. By the time the 355C was around the wheel was as you have. Those were the last set of speedlines from the importer because I tried to get another set for rain tires. The stickers I thought I gave you were exact duplicated from anotehr Fchater who i forgot maybe robbie who was redoing his 348C wheels. The 355C wheels did not have the same speedline decal as the original 348C. The 355C wheel had a small about 2" script along the rim in cursive that said speedline red on white wheel near the tire valve hole. The wheel you have is the true race wheel in magnesium. The 348C/355C wheels had a sticker on the inner barel that said racing only. I think that allowed them to import the wheel without being DOT certified. The challenge wheels are light strong and beefy. While in clubracing we routinely break kinesis, ccw's, and stock vette Z06 wheels I have never heard of a challenge wheel breaking. IMO there is no better wheel on a 348/355 than a challenge wheel. I don't even think centerlocks look as good on the 348/55. Rick you are so into the 355 for all the perfection you put into it, I can't believe you would sell these wheels. I also can't believe that the likes of VinceV or PlugZit don't grab these from you.

That's some great info FBB. I would also think the taper in the last incarnation Rick has would offer more lateral strength than the earlier versions. Rick, you are nuts - keep 'em!

Thanks for the history lesson Fatso. Yeah, you gave me some red and yellow decals. I wasn't diggin' them as much as the dark blue block letters with "corse" in Italics underneath- so I went looking for those.

Yeah, moment of weakness, if someone doesn't pony up soon - I may change my mind, paint them black and put street rubber on them.

We already have Speedline racing wheels on therace car and neither Bruce nor I can afford these bad boys, not that I wouldn't want them. ;)

I'd hang on to them until the economy gets better, then sell them for every dollar they are worth!
