I have a 360CS with a hunting idle issue which I am trying to resolve.
On cold start up the car idle is stable at around 1100 rpm. After warm up, i.e. 3-5 mins, the idle will start cycling/hunting between 1000 -1200 rpm at 2-3 sec interval. Occasionally, the idle will creep up to 1800 rpm and stay there unless I blip the throttle. I have cleaned the MAF but that doesn’t appear to have made any difference,
In addition, I am trying to track down a random misfire code for cylinder 1 and 8 which is triggering the CEL, I “checked” the intake gaskets (tried the WD40 trick) but again difference.

    Any suggestions?

I think that any good ghost busting has to start here.

Did you check for out of spec injectors? I think every major service should include sending the injectors out to be cleaned and flowed. Check out Mr. Injector in idaho.

right. also, not sure if your car has one or not, but pcv valve being stuck is classic for hunting idle. easy to check /clean. I look for vac leaks by sound- a 3/16 or so ID tubing, one end in my ear, the other going around vac line connections etc. when you find a leak, man, you will hear the hisssssssssss
