OK guys, i have searched the forums, and come up dry...

my drivers glass is rattling after having the motors upgraded to correct the sloww speed issue. i want to remove the outer door panel and see if there is an issue with the window track felt or gasket or whatever keeps it from rattling about.

Using table 115 and 1166 as a my guide, i have removed the 4 hex head screws from the panel, but it does not come loose all the way from the door frame, and appears to be connected or hung on something. i can see no reason for this in table 116 (http://www.ricambiamerica.com/parts_catalogs.php?M=FE&P=&V=diag&I=3130), but am not eager to simply yank on the panel either...

    what am i missing???

I am assuming you have a 348. There are two more nuts that have to be removed. They are inside the door outer skin at the front, look near the hinges. Open the door all the way and you will see them. Be careful and take your time removing the stake panel after you remove the screws.

If i remember right you have to have the door open to get the panel off and put it on. At least it makes it easier.
