was no misfire it was very fine holes in the headers as pointed out by JA.one look at your Boxer was enough for me,FFS race tap holding the dash togeither,P6's tyres and of course the many years of pommie roads and lack of cambelt changes,what was that Phillip island lap time again.

"My" boxer is a good car. Bought and sold for prices reflecting condition. Dash was stuck to prevent further shrinkage... big deal????? It needed a dash trim job. And got it.

lap time was 2.12, using 10 year old tyres and 8 year old cambelts, not revving over 5000rpm as sodium valves still installed, and not using the brakes either, as the discs were so badly warped.

 

thats not the reason i came to see you ,you asked me or I said i'd drop down to show you my car,as I don't think you had scene it ,remember it was under a cover at JA's for years.
the misfire was long after that when as it turned out a coil had failed,which happened after my trip to Sydney in her which as about a year latter.

 

so you know more then John Allen and his 50 plus years working on the cars.
