Wow...what an illustration of the potential importance of a PPI!

I know it's OT, but...I've heard horror stories about Countach rebuilds, but never quite that high. What was going on with that thing??? Curious because I still toy w/ the idea of adding one one day.

I bought my 308 long distance after a supposedly-thorough PPI by a well known and highly recommended "specialist".

Three+ years and $3K or so later, stuff he should have found or did find and didn't report is nearly sorted out.

I have only my own butt to kick. Next time, I'll buy only a car that's been maintained long term by Norwood or Boardwalk Ferrari and that is close enough to inspect for myself and bring to Norwood for a thorough PPI.

Thanks Chris. From what I was told it was the only one made in that color.

Well there were 3 lists. One with the things that had to be fixed, one with recommended things to fix and the third was cool things to add since it was apart. Roy offered half if I chose to do it all. It was too much for me so he had George do all 3. The total was around 51. I'm not sure where the car ended up but I know that it left the country :(
