My radiators are pulled from my car currently for a hopeful repair. does anyone have some very good measurements of the radiators from a 348? I spoke to someone today who can do any combination of aluminum or brass radiators and make them custom for 400-600.00 Much better than the OEM pricing. If anyone has dimensions please let me know.

Why don't you send them your OEM radiators so they can mock up custom replacements? If they do and they do a good job tell them to save the pattern because he will have more customers for sure ;).

Recently mentioned to Ernie with his 348 issues to look at Be Cool radiators. Although I did not see any Ferrari listings on their website, they have a custom division. As large as Be Cool is, it might be possible they have previously fabricated 348 radiators and have the plans and dimensions already.
I personally just put a brand new Be Cool unit, direct fit, in my C5 Corvette and can attest to the quality of the unit;all aluminum and no plastic and fully tig welded. And it offers twice the capacity of the OEM unit. Other than the purchase, I have no connection with Be Cool. I will not tell you what I paid for it brand new from Fleabay, because that will surely start a shXX storm on here compared to what I have seen F chatters mention the price of Ferrari units are.
Maybe enough inquiries will cause Be Cool to consider production manufacturing, which would reduce it's price point. Just a thought.

I should have some pricing on the replacements in the next day or two I hope. IF not I may send them to another shop and get an estimate.

I spoke to the shop today, the current estimate for completely custom Brass and copper 348 TS radiators is $700.00 for both. Large for $400, passanger side $300.00 total. We should have them in hand in about 8-12 days from now. The OEM ones pulled from the car had fatigue leaks around the tank stems and were re-crimped and would hold pressure with a seepage around the neck. Was told I could put them back in, they would seep some, but didnt expect a catastrophic failure. My thinking is for a few hundred bucks, the peace of mind and doing it correctly is worth it. Driving hard in high temps would likely result in leaking at the resevoir tanks and I didnt think it was worth doing cooling on the cheap, although its about 5,000.00 less than OEM replacements.
Ill post how the install and quality is on the new parts.
