I currently have headers, hi-flow cats and Tubi. But it seems quiet. Is anyones too loud, or louder? I have been thinking of seeing what else is out there. Suggestions?

Kyle - I think you'll find that the degree of "loudness" one appreciates or enjoys is a personal preference. For example, I'm currently running HyperFlow cats and a Capristo Level 1 on my 355 and have decided the combination is too loud for me. So, I'm in the process of swapping out the Capristo for an OEM unit while keeping the HyperFlows... the ideal combo for my tired old ears.

Will the Capristo be offered for sale?

Kyle, many folks have had good luck with Nouvalari. I think it is the most affordable (new) system out there.

Something you need (or should) take into account is your elderly neighbors. Your community might not be very receptive to your new love.

Check your bypass valve and make sure it opens above 4000 RPM, running Tubi with Hi flow cats you should hear a significant change in sound.

Even for the 30 miles we had his valve wired open it was pretty quiet. My stock headers/cats with Mille Miglia is WAY louder.

i think my setup is a little loud at times. tubi headers, hyperflow, capristo L3. keeping the top up makes it bearable and gives me the option to drop the top when i feel like soaking in the loudness.

I, personally, would like my completely stock F355 to emit less noise when driven moderately. I seriously don't want to have to use ear plugs while driving, and its close, I do have to use ear plugs at the track and on my Ducati.

I have tubi headers and silencer with straight pipes. Its not too loud. I know it is preference but my car sounds awsome at all speeds and I dont like loud noise. Some of you who find these cars too loud with a similar configuration should check and make sure you dont have cracked headers because that will greatly increase the sound levels. Usually unpleasant loudness.

I just installed FABspeed headers on my 355B, hyperflows, a FABspeed bypass Y-pipe, and a Capristo level 3. Will this be too loud? I don't mind wearing ear plugs or using my BOSE headset...LOL. Has anyone done this combination....? I am using my 355 for SCCA and NASA time trials as well but will drive it on the street. Will guests at the local Dairy Queen vacate the building if I drive by?

    Just noticed this thread :)

I'm finding my standard cats, headers and Nouvalari sport exhaust system too loud for trundling around town for my tastes. Sounds amazing when opened up though.

Ross - I was told by a Capristo NA rep a while back that the Level One should sound very "civil" with regular cats installed. I can't attest to that, though, because I've only run mine with HyperFlows which, as previously mentioned, is a bit too loud for me.
