I had a problem of starting the car from cold when sits for over 8 hours. It would not start right up but would if I recycled the key and let it crank again. I know others have had this problem. I put in the Helm's gold connectors and now it starts right up even in 30 degree temps. It must have been something in the computer connectors that controls cold start because it only got better after the computer connectors were changed.

The Helm's gold connector kit should almost be a requirement after buying a Ferrari or doing a major. With this much positive feedback on the kit it is proven to be a "must" for anyone wanting an excellent running Ferrari. I am not a paid spokesmen, just a fan, lol ;D

Does everything come with the Helm's kit? replacement boots etc for the connectors ?

Also does it come with the tools needed to crimp all the connections on?

It does come with everything including a new connector block for the computer if you get the whole kit.

+1 My 348 runs silky smooth. Nothing better than having all the electronics communicating properly.

This kit is a work or art, Dave put 1000's of hours into developing it to make it the best of the best as he does with all his stuff. He is a Guru's Guru

Glad to hear another success story.

Where does one find this computer (ECU) in the 355. I'm curious to have a look at the connectors.

I like it when problems get solved and someone actually posts it, usually we hear all the complaints and the please help me but we rarely see the end result of mission accomplished. It's like they get their problems solved and see ya later lol.

So thank you for posting this :)
