Guys, i need some feedback on a problem: Driving my 355 spider, suddenly i hear this alarm beep going off continuously, and then i noticed all the gauges go out and then slow down light comes full on. I keep driving the car until i get home. The engine didn't go into shut down mode dispite the slow down light showing full on for about 5 mins. I try to put the roof up, but it does'nt move. Sounds like an electrical fault?
I have the same problem with one off My customers 355. Flashing lights and the alarm light flashing while driving.I already found the problem,but I have to take the dashboard out.I in the middle of the work right know.I found that the radio installer remove one grommet in the firewall to pass the amp wiring.A couple of cables rub againts the firewall resulting in some frying fuses and cables..
problem was found to be a blown fuse, and a blown LHS cat, which was tripping off the slow down light.
