    Hello members,

The bookstandard Maarten is talking about is part of the book 'Sumo' (2nd edition) by Helmut Newton, published by Taschen. I use one too, it saves your books spine a lot of wear and tear!

    Ciao, Olaf

    Hello Olaf,

Bookstand can be bought seperately in the Netherlands:

    http://www.taschenbooks.nl/taschen-s-bookstand-boekenstandaard-2615-0.html

You don't have to buy a book anymore which you don't read...

    Hello Maarten,

Thank you for the tip! I bought the book four or three years ago, no option of buying the bookstand seperate back then.

And I did read the book ....... The photography is beautiful!

    Ciao, Olaf

A new list with one lucky owner of two books...

Still waiting to get an answer from Palawan concerning the 10 "Ferrari"editions. These 10 would have come out of the 100 leatherbound issues. This would mean there are only 90 normal leatherbound editions instead of 100 and no extra 10 books for the Ferrari edition. Still not confirmed by Palawan but now told to me by 2 different persons... Let's see and wait for an answer from Palawan...

    Regular (Blue) Edition:

    #119 Seb
#123 Mick (also owner of #987)
    #230 Paul
    #249 Maarten
    #429 Stefano
    #444 Martin
    #454 National Automotive History Collection
    #559 Jack
    #761 Matt
    #776 Nathan
    #789 Llenroc (?)
#987 Mick (please see also #123)

    New (Red) Edition:

    #310 Hugo
    #307 Scuderia Dino Torino (?)
    #328 George
    #373 "Autoland" Hilversum
    # ? "Autoland" Hilversum

I am fortunate enough to own:

    Leather bound #052

I am the third owner. I bought it from the previous owner who was gifted it by the original owner, (a close family friend of his).

It's on Ebay UK as "Ferari in Camera". So far only bid up to 300 pounds (18 bids from 6 bidders), so may be a good buy. No reserve...perhaps reserves are prohibited in UK as they are in certain other countries. It didn't turn up on an Ebay global search. The seller would get a lot more exposure if it were cross-listed on the US site. I found my own copy on the UK site several years ago.

    Jack.

I have blue #590 which I just bought on ebay, have to say I am delighted with it. Just bought a mint copy of 'The Colonel's Ferraris' too, another great read.

As an interesting addition to this thread there is a yellow bound copy of the book in Enzo's house at Fiorano. I wonder if this is one of the 10 Ferrari editions previously referred to?

Next time I am there I will have a look at the number inside.

If you don't mind, can you let us know what it went for, and if there were other bidders? You can send a pm, if you'd like.
