Yes I put them on my car. You cant really tell the difference unless you look closely. Getting the factory embedded ones would cost about $20K. (I asked) I had the dealership put them on for me and the service manager actually measured them for thickness and size and they are identical. I highly recommend getting them. I like the look, looks very sharp. My only suggestion is that you buy direct. The cheaper price leads me to believe that they might be the off spec sizes. (You can also get them slightly off spec cheaper.) You seem to be critical enough to want to get the EXACT size other wise I think you would have just put bought them...

Pay the $300 bucks and make sure you get the right size direct from the supplier.

Anyone here have trouble of adapting the shield to the fender and not having any gaps? I've attempted many times and wasted quite of few because I just couldn't get the shields to stick completely without any gaps.

Ok guys I just received a set of these badges directly from the seller on the eBay link posted above. I see a few of you are happy with the quality, what about the color? the pair I received were fluorescent yellow and are not even close to the factory color. Or even close to the color on the auction. Any of you have the same experience?

    Chris...

You need to trial fit them while the backing paper is still on them to be sure they conform to your fender contours. Do all the bending and shaping to fit before peeling off the backing. Mark the location using painter's tape so you're not inadvertently moving it around during the trial fit process. When you stick them on, start at the top and slowly "lever" or "pivot" the rest of it down in place. That said, the Yoshields fit perfectly w/o any real need for adjustment and the colors are about an exact match to factory. If you end up with a slight gap you can cover the shield with painter's tape (to keep from marring the enameled surface) and gently, a little at a time, gradually tap down the gap edge with a heavy but soft coated hammer. A plastic covered 5 lb. deadblow hammer (also useful for pounding stuck brake disks off their hubs) from Sears works perfectly. Gently and gradually are the two best words if you do this. AT YOUR OWN RISK! FWIW, this is one item that I would not trust from an eBay source (absent, perhaps, a lot of favorable reviews). Just get them from Yoshi.
