My 2008 Scud does not have the I-pod option. Is there a way of retrofitting an I-pod adapter to the car. Thanks
yes, there is a factory/dealer part that is availiable for that.... If you need one I have one in stock for less than you can get it from ferrari... If you want it let me know. Scott
do you have a cd changer already? i believe to use factory ipod connectionyou lose the use of the cd changer...just a matter of what is more important to you.
My car has the factory lead however it does not charge the iPod. Is there a lead that can charge the iPod now?
Please PM me the price and how difficult is it to install ? Is it DIY or is a dealer install ? Thanks
super easy install, i did mine in 10 minutes. Just make sure to turn on the auxilary input through the menu. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=275981&highlight=becker+ipod
Harry, I had the same problem (in 430 coupe and 16M), after a bit of investigation it turned out the iPod touch and latest iPod Nano isn't supported for charging - got a used earlier nano off eBay and works perfectly. They may have fixed this now or old iPod might be the only solution still - Nano version 2 works fine but limited to 8gb of music.
Would this part from Ricambi which states its for a 360 work in the Scud ? http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?products_id=343643 or this http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=1477 Anybody in the New York ( Long Island )area know how to do this ?..Be glad to pay you for your time
The latest Ipod and Nono have a change in their charging circuits and most car manufacturers had the concerns of no charging. there is a plug in adapter to resolve the concern. Not a Ferrari specific concern.
this part goes in line between the ipod cable and new gen ipod to allow a charge. hope this helps. http://www.scosche.com/consumer-tech/product/1667
