    So, I was able to get one shot of the newly acquired f355. Cleaning it up and having fun thus far. I've put 44 miles on it so far. Loved every mile.

    The driving experience is like no other and is taking some getting used to . . .

    I'm having fun with it that's for sure.

    First thing I've learned is not to look at people looking at you. They aren't looking at you, they are looking at your car.

    Bought it in from out of state. Was following the car for about 3 months and was lucky enough to grab it.

    More pics tomorrow, and I got my first CEL today! My wife starting freaking out, I just told her it is a Ferrari, and that's what they do.

    BTW, as a '95, I should be able to pull codes with the gas pedal correct? Been a long time since I've done it on a BMW, been too spoiled with scan tools.

    Invaluable...will tell you in detail how to check the codes on the 2.7 Motronic / OBD I setup...and as a special bonus, what the codes mean (sort of! lol).

    Look at it this way... less time taking pictures = more time driving !!!!

    (Unless of course you beautifully combine the two pursuits like Sandy Eggo has shown us with the TR and 355.

    Got a code for 1211 for the O2 sensor on 1-4, I'm wondering if putting that octane boost in the first fill-up was a bad idea. Cleared DME's ran the 10 minute drill, code is back. Well, I guess I get to work on it sooner than I thought. all in the fun . . .

    Still have not found the charger, must be at work. Good Omen of the day: My last run of the weekend was with a great friend of mine who's a fellow car nut. We just casually took it out, had some fun, etc.

    When I got the car, I reset the trip odometer to zero. I pulled into my driveway after the drive and it was dead-nuts 100 miles that I drove it since I got it this week.

    Man, I just love 355s in Nero.

    I also love how all 355s are always going at least 12 mph no matter what.

    Let's go for a run up here in North County when you get your fault code issue cleared up.

    It's more or less a pain right now. I'm going to have to drive more to get it resolved with some testing. Since the first time it has only come back once and then just went away, now gone all together. Might be just getting used to CA life. . . . but definitely 1211 code, probably a small vacuum leak. I'll smoke test that bank tomorrow at the shop and go from there.
