    What's the best place for sushi in Newport Beach area (or neighboring cities)? I like Katsuya up in LA, is there a place like that in OC, preferably with a great view of the water? Need to take the wife out for a nice dinner and we've had too many steaks - thanks!

    Sounds like you are looking for somewhere classy. I don't have any suggestions for the high end of sushi restaurants. However, if you change your mind and are interested in eating at a long-time favorite on Lido Isle, I've always liked California Rock N' Sushi. It's been there at least since the 1980's when I lived in O.C. and I'm never disappointed when I return. Have fun!
