Looks great man. I'm curious about how long you can leave the wrap on? Does this need to be removed periodically for health of the paint or something?
Beautiful . . . I love the 458s in Twin-Tone . . . Now the wheels in flat black as well, please Some say, they last up to 6 years!!! Actually wraps will not destroy your paint, on the contrary, they protect it from scratches and UV rays Greetz, Joseph
Beautiful. I have heard the same about how long it lasts and that it protects the paint but also that you might have a slightly different paint colour between the wrapped part and unwrapped after a while.
i just saw this pic on Flickr last evening and was thinking how bad ass it was. congrats on the wrap and don't change a thing! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow the wrap looks very good. I have a bicolor showing up with similar colors (using Nuevo Rosso as the red and nero as the top color). Been status 10 since early March. Your wrap looks so good it made me rethink whether getting the bicolor paint was actually a minus . In any case, looks great and enjoy. George
Wrap looks great! Side question: Given what others have said about their car's paint job, how was your car's paint job? Was it good to go from the factory or did the dealer have it sent out to be detailed - or did you have it detailed? Thanks!
That is also true, because the unwrapped paint is exposed to direct sunlight, rain, dirt and the rest of external influences which will let it fade bit by bit, and the wrapped part will stay unaffected! But I wouldn't worry about the paint on a 430/458, new car paints hold more than the older generation paint mixtures. I think the difference will be negligible, if not sitting in the sun all day every day Greetz, Joseph
Haven't seen a matte wrapped 458 roof before and I must say that it does work and looks great, on an unrelated note how are you finding the exhaust sound levels have you plugged the tubes? Also love your M3, it means business! very nice enjoy
Looks great! I'm ready to wrap my roof as well. Did they have to remove the little antenna on the roof? If so, how do you take them off?
I was going to order the Bicolore roof but the price was ridiculous.I think it was 12k or 18k I'm doing the wheels gunmetal or the paint code for the wheels .It was 8k if I wanted the wheels painted from the factory. Some people have to have factory original.I let my wife go on a shopping spree. At first I did all the options I wanted and I was hitting 335k.I ended up saving enough to buy the m3 next to the ferrari after I cut it back
