Interesting. These cars don't seem to have a very successful race history. The engines reportedly made 450 Hp at 9500 rpm or so and used 355-ish throttle body intakes, IIRC.

Haven't had the time to even drive the 348 let alone do any work on it. :(

Going to put it in to storage for the time being and may get someone to work on it later this year.

Sorry to hear that but quite understand.

Be sure to pack everything very carefully - it would be a shame to dig this out in a few months only to find that certain items have gone astray.

Good luck, I look forward to a future reactivation of this thread.

Thanks, but I'm either going to put int into storage or sell it on. Certainly not going to do anything very soon.

    Lots of reasons.....

Basically, I got tired of waiting for it to be completed.

I purchased it nearly 15 months ago and so far only the heads have been removed. I'm not a mechanic so I can't do it myself. Plus, I've set up a new business and it's taking up all my time and money.

I won't put it in this summer/autumn as I want to be using the car. Hence why it's in storage.

I am talking to a couple of companies though that may work on it this year, but a friend is also interested it buying it off me. FDunds from teh sale will allow me to buy another video camera.

Plus, I'm thinking of doing a modification on my existing engine that may give an extra 50bhp, taking it to 370bhp plus.

So it's a lot of things really.

Sooooooooo.... I've been talked out of selling it, so it's going into storage until I can find someone who can rebuild it for me.

Will update this thread in a years time.
