There is also a caravan coming from VA A. TYSONS CORNER, VA [arrive whenever leave by 5:10am] (gasp): The Northern VA people should meet at the Starbucks in Tysons Corner, VA. (8520 Suite D, Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA, 22103, 703-760-7037). This should be a familiar location to many and its close to the beltway. We are leaving VERY early and will be on a tight timeline, but there is just no way to hit all of our check points without doing so. [30 min drive] B. COLLEGE PARK, MD [arrive 5:40am leave by 6:00am]: We will be meeting a group of MD folks at the IKEA parking lot in College Park (10100 Baltimore Ave., College Park, MD 20740). Again, this should be a familiar location to people. We wont be stopping for long, but it should give us enough of a window to connect. [45 min drive] C. BALTIMORE, MD [arrive 6:45am leave by 7:10am]: Like Voltron, we will combine forces with the GTR group (and others) at the Bob Evans (400 W. Padonia Rd., Luthersville-Timonium, MD 21093). Again, short window for everyone arriving, but we should have just enough time to get a quick break for fuel. [45 min drive] D. *YORK, PA [arrive 7:55am leave 8:15am]: We can make a short stop at the McDonalds in York, PA for anyone else in the area who wants to join us (1500 North George Street, York, PA, 717-848-6024). [45 min drive] E. HERSHEY, PA [arrive at 9:00am]: We should have enough flexibility in the schedule to account for some unexpected delays and still get there on time to clean the cars a little (Antique Auto Club of America Museum, 161 Museum Drive, Hershey, PA 17033, 717-566-7100).
Jon, don, George and anyone else from this area, should be about 1:45 to 2 hrs if we drive normal . How about 7:15 at Cecil college on 272 right off i95 northeast md. Exit? Give me a yell if this is problematic. Btw I'm bringing chairs this time. Bob -with his baby back in md.
Cant wait to see everyone in my neck of the woods! I look foward to seeing everyone and there shiny cars. Should be nice and sunny.
As of this morning, there are 90 cars registered, including 20 Ferraris. The participants are coming from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. With good weather expected, and an admission price for spectators of only $5.00, the organizers are expecting a good turnout.
I missed the registration deadline, but I'm still going to call tomorrow and see if I can sneak in. Can't miss the nice weather; first drive of the season! Hope to see you all.
Sorry to say guys, but I'm not gonna make it. My wife is in the hospital. Perfect weather both weekend days. Maybe escape for a couple hours sunday if anyone wants to take a quick drive. Have fun Take pics. Bob
Sorry that she is having a problem. We hope she gets well soon. Let me know if we can do anything to help. Don & Brandon P.S.: Call me when you want to drive.
For the guys heading up the turnpike, it looks like there are 2 groups. A Plymouth meeting contingent and a north of king of Prussia contingent. We should figure a meeting time that allows the Plymouth meeting grow meet and then join the next northern group in turn. Ideas of times?
Change of plans. I saw my friend Mario with his Lambo today and asked him if he could go. He said maybe. I'll be calling him at 6 tonight to make tenative plans. Tom: Can you add his name to the list after 6 tonight? Thanks Anthony

Well, this was a great show today. Even though the weather looked a little iffy, with a chill in the air this morning, it cleared off, and what a great diversity of cars. Where else have you seen three DeLoreans together lately? All the Fcars looked gorgeous, and congrats to Jon and Ed on your wins. Lots of beautful British, German and Asian muscle too, this was a car guy's dream gathering. I especially liked the '63 Jag E, as some of you know that I have a soft spot for these cars. Even though I was "down the hill" in American car exile (just kiddin', the location was fine), I think the turnout of spectators was great, and I know I personally answered a lot of questions about my car. We had 7 Vipers in attendance, with all four generations represented: 1 1993 R/T, 2 (97 and 98) GTS, and 4 SRT10s (2 '03, 1 '04, and 1 '08). The organizers of this show did a great job, and I'm definitely looking forward to coming back next year. Scott
