I wonder how many they are building a Week? I'm told there are only 15 (London) VIP cars ahead of Customer cars
the VIP list is for major shareholders and employees and possibly some F1 owners, but not all as i think Jay leno is getting his sometime in august

my wife will be driving it as well,so i thought they would look better when she kerbs it!!!! plus the only time i have seen one like this was in the background of a vid by pistonheads interviewing jenson button on youtube, with the silver it seemed to enhance the wider rear wheels making them look more dished inwards, wereas the colured ones hide this,i hope for my sake it isnt an optical illusion,if anyone has seen this ,your opinions please?? if they look crap i have a mate who can match spray them in the future, not ideal but wheels always seem to be the first things to go

Nice column by Jay Leno in the May issue of octane. I could not find it online but worth reading for the McLaren fans. The digs at Ferrari and their owners was a nice touch too.
Hi all, posted these questions also in Mclarenforum, but this one seems more active: I checked the specs for the Belgium delivered cars and had some questions on options; 1. there are 3 standard colors(white, silver, blue): are these metallic colors or non-metallic (although can't imagine silver being non-metallic). I especially like the blue which looks a bit like Ferrari Blue Sera. 2. Has anybody seen any pictures of body colored front splitter. Seems like most pictures show the black or carbon version, but I think that body color would make a nice break in the full black front 3. In Belgium , floor mats are optional at 360 EUR... is this the same in other markets. Would imagine that these would come standard in this price category 4. TPMS seems to be mandatory for track tires and low weight wheels. Can you still add these wheels afterwards for track purposes if you didn't order TPMS? 5. One of the accessories listed is a 'fuel funnel adapter'. Anybody know what this is? Best regards, Frank
Sharing some feed-back after I drove the 12c a few days ago: great in every aspect. Balance very neutral, makes the car incredibly (too?) easy to control at the limit between over- and understeering. Engine pushing in a very linear manner, unlike many turbocharged supercars. Sound much better from inside than outside, but definitely a weak point if you like the very metalic sound of modern Ferraris. I am glad I ordered the inconell exhaust, although I never heard one. Most impressive is braking: typical CC for the feel, stopping distance and dependability after repeated braking, but the greatest point is the 12c's stability under heavy braking on a bumpy surface or in a curve. This should be a great advantage on the Nordschleife.
My dealer told me yesterday there is a delay in production and hence delivery time. Anyone else heard anything?
Perhaps one of my (many) fav's... http://i.imgur.com/sCusq.jpg Anyone know from what event / release gala that's from?
Don't know about fuel funnel adapter. There are pictures on here of a fire black with painted splitter which I agree, breaks up the fish mouth view across the front.
