    Exactly; I'm sure any manufacturer worldwide would have given them any car they wanted to drive away in.

    A new Virage Volante (or DBS V) would have been pretty sweet too.

    My first reaction upon seeing footage was "No way he's going to make it where he's going." Old car, rarely used- a breakdown waiting to happen. Looks like he only had to go a few miles, which I'm sure made it a safer bet.

    It looks to be a Vantage spec engine which had 3*45 DCOE
    Webers and 9.4:1 compression ratio, although 1 had fuel injection.
    38 Mk2 Volantes made, 21 were automatics.

    thankyou,i had a mark2 on injection,can't be many still on it most were converted under warranty to SUs.
