Ok, I'll admit it. I was idiot and forgot to write down which wire went where when I took out the clock to ship it to Nick Rios. (Who did an OUTSTANDING job of refurbing it!) I tried to look at the wiring diagram to figure it out and I can't tell which wire goes where even blow up to 200%. Can anyone help? Please!

I still have mine apart...where do you need to know about....at the clock itself or further down the harness?

Not normal. All 308s have the same wiring at the clock and oil temp gauges including wire colors. The yellow wire supplying voltage to the clock light AND oil temp light go back into the dash gauge panel to the dimmer which feeds all gauge illumination lights.

There is also yellow/green wire at the clock with constant battery voltage to keep the clock wound. It is possible that the yellow and yellow/green wires are reversed at the clock connector. Is your oil temp illumination light always lit as well? Using Rick's photo, my schematic and a simple auto 12v voltage probe, you can quickly troubleshoot the situation around the connector. GL

    Nope.

That will kill your battery, given enough time.

Thanks for your help Paul, the temp gauge light is not on and the gauge does not work, I assume the two proplems are related. What is scary about this it was a licensed Ferrari mechanic who screwed this up. Sadly he passed away before i could bring the car back to him, by the way I had nothing to do with his passing.
