Well handled. I think Mr. "Big Fish in a Small Pond" is in a much larger pond now, gasping for air. "DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM???" (Poor guy doesn't know who he is!)

    LOL

This thread is hysterical. Most amusing after the mandatory 'no time for forums, must save lives' comments is that Spencer MD has the spelling ability of a middle school kid. Presumably his med school only required knowing how to spell prescription drug names correctly.

Watch out Superquant, this is borderline "heard" mentality.

You're right - I really need to remind myself to be my own man. And to make sure I am heard correctly.

    Dr. Spencer,

As a user has written before, you were demanding help and not politely requesting it! You did not even put the magic word in your first post. This is a Ferrari forum, believe it or not, some people here expect high standards, also in terms of behavior. Even if you have achieved wealth beyond our imagination, achieving us (Peasants) through humbleness would have shown what a great character you truly are ;) :)

If you are a Med. Doctor, you must know more than us (Non-Meds) that the whole high-blood-pressure-production might lead to a heart-infarction :D
So, I do not quite understand why your comments are getting more aggressive with every post in this thread! Calm down.
Life is beautiful! It is not worth it to loose your temper over a Launch Control issue ;)

Just some food for thought . . .

    Greetz,

    Joseph

    Dr. Spencer,

You may not be aware of this but there is a Ferrari Owner's Forum on this website where the only people in it are documented Ferrari owners.

There are 6 forums at the top of the main page here on FerrariChat that are only visible to subscribed users. One of them is the Owner's Forum. It becomes visible when 3 people vouch that they have seen your Ferrari in person, such as at a local car event.

I mention this because you may find that subset of this community more to your liking, since everyone there is an owner.

The other subscribed forums are also worth visiting. You might consider spending the $11 per year to become a Silver Subscribed member ($55 for a 5-year upgrade).

Here is a screen snapshot of what the top of the main page looks like when you subscribe and join the Owner's Forum.

I have read the post .I still don't know how to us the PS (POWER START BUTTON).I look at the Button everytime I drive the car.Especially when my wife is in the car.Ferrari told me the car should be in (1)manual in first gear with race.(2) press the button Once!!.(3) put your foot on the brake.(4) Give it gas with the brake held.(5) Let go of the brake hold on!!!
I have not tried it yet.

It doesn't have to do with post count credibility. Although it does seem like a heard mentality as you put it. I might actually have to quote you on that ;). The only thing I saw after reading the short thread here is that I don't believe you got an answer much different than the manual would have given you, but that doesn't mean it was wrong to try on here. Don't let the attack on your original post discourage you from using the forum, unless it already has.

Believe me, it could have been much worse. You could have been like the many on here that ask....so how often should I change my timing belt? Factory says 3yrs/30k but I want a real world experience....Those are the guys who get stampeded on by the heard, you were merely brushed by.

F Chat is the best resource for Ferraris anywhere.

Don't want to miss the balance of this entertainment. I love this forum, literally.

Good news is, just to change the LC subject... my car is 4 weeks away.

I'm just about wasted waiting. Thanks for keeping me busy in the mean time!!! :) :) :)

Great news, Arnie - You're gonna love it! I had mine in today for the battery fuse upgrade. Only took 20 minutes.

Make sure you keep us posted on any developments! (and take some pictures)

okay well there is this video,
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keEzNl-5r8g[/ame]
this looks like what launch control is

You see whoever is driving takes off really fast from the stop, and from the sound of the engine I think it was in launch control.

Is this what you want, Dr. Spencer? You want to drive 458 like this?

I FIND ANOTHER Launch Video, it would not load in my internet, but the preview pic has a man inside the cock-pit, I think he will give the demonstration for 458 launch control

The Dr. is busy, he is a great man, he has many responsibility. It is up to us to help him find launch control. He saves life every day, the least we can do is repay him by helping him when he needs us.

    I don't think so.

I'm curious as to your vigor to find this answer. Do you know Dr. Spencer personally?

Thank you for some of the good information.
But still alot of attacks for pleasure and fun...I have no idea why.
Anyways, if someone want to call me you can.
I assume their are no real nuts on this forum but who knows?

By the way you are welcome to google my family:
Susan Spencer, her father leonard Tose and the Arden group.
My mom was on FBN last week and has been all over the news talking about the NFL holdout...She was the first and only GM of a professional football team in the history of the NFL...Not to bad.

The Arden Group is a billion dollar company, of course family owned.
Did I forget that my mom owned the Eagles...must have forgotten that little nuggett. And by the way my brother, along with Bon Jovi, own the Philadelphia Soul. Another football team in our family.

Enough of this nonsense with you folks.
Basically a bunch of wannabes on this forum who could never afford a ferrari much less be in the class fo such an owner.
