    David, if I get to go I might arrange to meet you guys on the way. I assume you'll be heading out via Lilydale? I'm just down the road from Rob H and it would be silly for us to join the peak hour traffic heading in towards the city only to turn around and head back out.

    Thanks in advance. (Thats if steel cars are allowed :p)

    Edit: You can have a look at my harness bar set up and try it out.

    It's only a few kays to Wonthagi, we could always stop there for lunch then loop back around, plenty of good roads down there to chose from.

    Yeah, but I'm more in favour of a cafe / pub / pie shop lunch than a formal restaurant lunch, and it's a shame that the Archies Ck Hotel only opend Fridays and weekends as I've eaten there and the pub grub is excellent.

    I have been to Wonthaggi recently.

    Archies on the Creek is not the local pie shop. They do a very good line in dead cow, but you don't have to have the Wagyu. Those who went on the Carbie run will know exactly what they are getting. There is a lovely bottle of St. Julien there for Carl also ;)

    There will be every opportunity to discuss the lunch options on the day. Planning for a couple of coffee stops en route so we can formulate a consensus view, and as Rob points out, 'Thaggi is an easy divert.

    I think I might be becoming a big girls blouse after all. I've always said I'll drive my car no matter what and have punished my car including driving it in torrential rain on the day of collection from Melbourne to South Australia. Looking outside tonight I was thinking if it rains I might give the drive a miss. I can't believe those thoughts are in my head.

    Picked the car up today after repairs from the Phillip Island track day and it's had the once over. Phil cleaned the entire engine bay again and it looks magnificent. We also cleaned the body while I was there.

    Used the heaters for the first time since owning the car. It was quite comfy in there on the way home.

    Forecast for Thursday is for scattered showers and cool breezes, so make sure you rug up.

    Meeting at the Chandler Highway end of the Kew boulevard at 0800 for 0830 departure. That should get us to the Lilydale crowd shortly after 9.

    Should see us at lunch at 1230, home about 1630

    Don't forget your etag for the tunnels.
