I will be there for sure! Always a great time @ FoNE. I'm surprised there aren't more replies here, who else is going?
I'm not sure why no one is replying on here, but we have a ton of replies on facebook. You can see who's going here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=190229364354933
I may come, with my camera if that's alright, but it's awful far away from where I live. I'm sure It's worth going to, but could someone give some examples of what will probably show up.? Thanks.
Here's a few example's from last year... http://s736.photobucket.com/albums/xx1/CustomF430/Ferrari%20Auction/ http://s736.photobucket.com/albums/xx1/CustomF430/fone1/
Last show I was at there was an F40, 275, McLaren F1, LP670, Stradales/Scuderias, Ford GTs etc... The list goes on and on. Pretty much everything you could ever want at an event, I'm sure it will be worth the trip.
Due to Saturday's forecast of a 50% chance of rain. (We go by weather.gov forecast which seems to be the most accurate.) We may have to cancel the car show. We will have an answer for you all tomorrow afternoon, when the forecast is more reliable.
We are going to cancel the car show due to tomorrow's forecast. There is a 60% chance of rain before 11am and Shower and thunderstorms are likely between 11 and 5. Sorry for the inconvenience and we hope everyone has a great weekend.
surprised this was cancelled. weather reports only call for scattered thunderstorms, mostly north of the pike. i'm sure any of our cars can handle a bit of water on them.
Rain keeps Ferrari's home and I doubt FMoNE wants to hold a show with none there so don't blame them for calling off
I know we're usually gung ho, but I can understand that some of these guys don't want to bring their babies out. Its okay though because you can guarantee they'll have another and we'll just clean the mats again!
don't people wash their cars with water? it's not so hard to dry it off after a rain storm or to wash it the next day. oh well... i still plan to be out driving.
They don't dry clean them! lol. I know your logic, but no. Have you ever heard of water droplets making little white circles if you don't dry it off? You don't own a nice car unless you're into attention to details. Besides, it's kind of a mute point since today is a beautiful day. People make decisions based on the best information they have. I just wouldn't want to be the one that has to live with this decision at the 11th hour. There will be other events though.
