I'll start off - had lunch today at CeCe's at the airport at Homer, Alaska. A large wall photo of Sarah Palin watched me have a popular (according to Cece) selection, the cheeseburger onion melt with French dip aujus and potato salad. And complimented by day old ice tea.

    Airport dining at it's finest.

    Post your favortes here.

There used to be a pretty popular simple little breakfast/lunch diner at the airport in Chino, California where the Planes of Fame museum is.

May not be there any more, I was last there in 1994.

Here in North Dallas, at the Addison Airport, most everybody goes to Bics, which is on Midway where the airport tunnel comes out on the west side of the runway.

Spitfire Grill across from Santa Monica airport is pretty nice. If anyone wants to fly in for a $1000 hamburger drop me a line!

Gardunos at the Albuquerque Intl Sunport was one of my favorites every time I flew into there but I heard that it closed :(

The Golden Tee restaurant in the terminal at the Monterey CA airport has fantastic food!

The sand dabs and calamari are to die for.

When I have time to eat before a flight at Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL) in Atlanta, it's usually fast food at one of the centerpoint food courts in whatever concourse I'm leaving from. But if I have more time than that, I go to Concourse E (currently the international concourse) and eat at One Flew South, which is great.

And right next to Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) is 57th Fighter Group, once part of the Dave Tallichet group but now independent. The decor is the same and the menu similar, but I think that it's even better now.

And the unusual case of a nice restaurant outside of a major airport but still within walking distance, possible because Seattle-Tacoma's (SEA) terminal is on the edge of its property and not between the runways as is now usually the case. The restaurant in question is Sharp's RoastHouse.

Jonsey's at Napa, Ca. (KAPC) great steak sandwiches. Also the Waypoint Cafe at Camarillo, Ca. (KCMA) best tri tip I've had.
What was that one at Chino called (KCNO). Was it Flo's Diner? That's a great old greasy spoon place. I think the worst is the Bendix Diner at Teterboro, NJ ha ha, although Mt. Fuji is pretty cool, Benihana tepinyaki style food.

IAD has a great wine room called VINO VOLO at gate C3..........the food is excellent and the wine selection is outstanding as well as reasonably priced for an airport location. I always try to book my flights thru IAD with a 3-5 hour holdover just so I can go and hang out.

There is a little burger place next to the Navy/AMC terminal at Bahrain International that is really amazingly good. Nothing fancy but they make pretty much the equivalent to In-N-Out but a long way from any In-N-Out.

Gardunos in the Albuquerque Sunport has been replaced by El Pinto, another excellent local restaurant, but has not opened yet.

The Sedona, AZ airport restaurant has really outstanding breakfasts. Highly recommend the biscuits and whatever else you like.

That is good to hear the next time I fly down there to hit Elephant Butte Lake. I can have my green chilie fix prior to hitting the road :)
