The later Arena Daytona's are based on the BBR. They also did some early ones that are not based on the BBR and are not that good. You can tell the BBR ones because the have photoetched window frames.

just receided this fx today directly from hong kong, it comes in a very small box so tight that flatten the roof of the car, i think, without a brand or any reference of the manufacturer. the resin cast is ok, clean and smooth outside and inside, without boubles, but the rear engine cover is not proportionally sculptered and the front nose is a little bit shorter than the TR, the rest is ok, it requires a fujimi 512tr for his transkit, cause the engine bay is closer than the tamiya testarossa, althought the fx is a conversion from the 512M.

Thanks for the photos. It looks like a pretty good transkit if you like the car.

also received from airtrax the 330gtc/s and the 250pf cabrio, the resin cast is much better than the back ones, it's smooth and almost absent of boubbles, hope they continue to manufacture new good items under their policy, not repeating what is already done by others. Forza!

A blowdryer and some gentle manual persuation might get that roof back in the original shape..
    (don't make it to hot!)

see! the car looks like a old lotus europa at the side, i think i won't ask the replacement, coz anyway i have to reshape the engine cover, that the angle is smaler from the roof and flatter, i will transplant to roof from the tr transkit to fit also the front and side windows, don't you think this an good idea? look forward to see your built one.

As APM is issuing his version of the 599XX, Hobby design prepared a complete kit of the 599XX... the body looks more thin, the decal sheet is also proposing 5 different versions
    have a look here :

I'm waiting to receive more pictures from the APM kit. I will post them when I get them.

Looks interesting, but after their last 599XX transkit, Hobby Design is not getting another penny from me(unless they take the old transkit as a trade in) :) Also with Hobby Design thinner means lots of warping. They need to prove themselves to me again. Their wheels and bodies leave alot to be desired(after you measure them).

Here we go with the duplications again.

Got my FX transkit today, same problem, mine was smashed to the point that it broke. I also got some damage in the front, where the pin under the hood was pushed up and made a hole in the hood! Overall, not a bad transkit, but shape of the engine lid is completely off, front bumper is slightly off too - there is a slight lip on both sides of the intakes that extends slightly forward, its not on the TK. Also, Shape of the "point" between the taillights is off 9should be more "pointy"), shape of the side intakes slightly off, and front wheel arches/fenders and not "round" enough, need to be beefed up. Overall, all things could be fixed with some basic fixes, but definitely require work. I think replacing the roof with Fujimi TR kit roof is a good idea, granted they are the same (haven't looked yet). Is this worth the $$ - probably not. Will this ever be released by anybody else - most likely not! A wash :)

hobby design wasting resources to make a complete kit of 599xx, which they already have the transkit, if they like to work around the 599 why not the sa aperta, that's a good looking car.

found this decal today at net 'team-hobby.com', a hong kong seller, a decal of 1/24 ferrari 458 challenge for those like to make this version, personally i d'ont like this time the design of the markings on this challenge, specially the checkers stripes, the previous f430 challenge is much better, this time it looks like more suitable on a old mini cooper. i'm waiting the release of the modification parts and i'll do design of my own version.
