Wow i love it !!!

They look incredible! In comparison to the factory stock colors and wheels, nice to see something different on the road. In Southern Cali, 458's are becoming pretty common, and a splash of color really pushes the individuality. As for begging for attention, I don't think anyone who owns an exotic should cast the stone.
I have had my share of cars and made them my own by changing wheels, aero, etc.. and they always received compliments. Ferrari's are for some reason different. I feel if a Ferrari is modified with ferrai parts like putting Stradale or challenge wheels on your 360 or 430 that's correct but to add anything outside a Ferrari vendor is a mistake. To each their own and this is what makes the car world go round! Rb
^^^ robert, your website/work looks incredible if I was in CA & had the dough, I would certainly give you a buzz.... congrats
Kinda over the top IMHO. Lightweight forged wheels that don't detract from the lines of the car is ok, but contrasting color wheels on a yellow 458 just doesn't flow in this case. The black is acceptable but the wheel design are so similar to the stock 20 inch wheels, I just don't get it.
how come alot of you guys think enzo wouldnt like any of these aftermarket products for ferrari , just think about how boring the car world would be without customizing, no hot rods for one example to start with. i guess i better stop putting spices on my steak too!
I gotta just chime back in..... Some said it well, for whatever reason and I can not say why or understand it, A Ferrari simple looks at its best with the factory options and that is the way the majority sees it..... Sorry you alternative guys but that is the overwhelming opinion... Tony................
The problem with the spice analogy is that "spice" is too general. I can see puting a nice Montreal blend, or a Kansas City blend, or some typical complimentary seasoning on a steak, but those wheels are like ketchup or grape jelly. In some rare cases people might find that acceptable, but for the vast majority, it's considered tacky or even disrespectful. The first thing _I_ thought of when I saw the yellow car was Dennis Rodman.
Intentionally tilted pictures, like the first one, give me a headache. BTW: Rice is for Toyota, and such...
Doug gets it. Actually, Enzo's dream was to race, and build the best racing cars, and win races. It was only after much pressure that he reluctantly began selling road cars to customers. And once that snowball started rolling, he saw how lucrative it was, and how road cars could finance the Scuderia. Even today, Ferrari (the factory) pours so much of it's profits into racing - and a lot of those profits come from stuff like fender shields, carbon fiber dashboard inserts, steering wheel, LEDs, etc. I bet if steering wheel LEDs weren't a factory option, and someone had them installed, you guys would shun them as niggrish - oh, wait, you'd euphemise it by calling it "pimpalicious." While I like these two cars, what I like more is the individuality. Even if they were **** green with purple polka dots, it would be nice to see people less concerned with resalability and more focused on enjoying the customization and personalization opportunities available with such a considerable acquisition. I don't applaud these guys for having the money to buy the cars; I applaud them for not worrying what the next owner will think.
There are some people who think that wearing a watch is ostentatious; one man's personalization will always be another man's showing off. But that's no reason for condescension; especially on a forum where everyone holds themselves in such high moral regard.
