I'm thinking about going to meet the FOG group this Saturday before it starts raining. Anybody in the SACRED group want to come with me?
Would love to - but I'm totally booked for Saturday. M3 brakes and rotors take the morning, while Sactopalooza has my night locked up. You should definitely go, however! Have a great time!
If any of you plan to join us, please sign up on the lis ton the FOG thread so we can get an accurate head count for our breakfast. Thanks!
Gentlemen (I'm not leaving you ladies out, but so far, none have come driving with us... speaking of which, why not?!), We've been invited to our local car meet group's 2nd Annual Wine Tour of Lodi. It happens to be on June 4th, the same date as our next drive, and I was wondering if we'd like to join them, or if you'd prefer our "normal" drive. Full details are here: Partnered with the Lamborgnini/Maserati Club the Lodi Wine Tour will be June 4th, 2011. A caravan will meet at Pavilions @ Bella Bru @ 10:00 am and will caravan, to F&M Bank in Downtown Lodi, led by a beautiful Diablo VT. After lunch @ 11:00 am at Scooters, the group will go to Cellar Doors and then another downtown winery, to begin the wine sampling. After that, the group will caravan to Woodbridge in Acampo, then another drive to Viaggio with a final stop is Woodbridge Uncorked for tasting, munchies, live music and more. This is an all afternoon event, and will go into the evening for those who wish to dine at Woodbridge Crossing. If you missed it last year, you are in for a treat! If you were part of this inagural event, then I look forward to seeing you again! Walking, tasting and food...Gift bags, discounts and much more. Space is limited to 60 total cars (a limit I've been informed will not be hit this year). So, let's see a show of hands - who'd like to change the pace a little, and extend our monthly Saturday get-together in June, to be a full, fun day? If you'd rather stay local and do our normal drive, I'm happy to plan for that, too... Orrie
I already told Kim I'd be there. The wine is actually pretty darn good in Lodi. So you can guess my vote. If we go south, I vote we caravan.
Pierre and I suggest car talk and coffee at Peet's at the Fountains at 8AM. Looks like weather coming in tomorrow night, so tomorrow morning is a good time to get the car out. Hope to see you there. Dave
Thanks for getting us all together this morning Dave. It's great to meet up with the 'guys'. I hope we can make it a regular occurance. Didn't make the FOG run. It'll have to be another time.
I think the space is limited right? If for some reason Ben gets done by the end of tomorrow I will be there.
There are limited spaces, Dave, but I don't think they're close to hitting that limit. And if they are, I'll move my BMW out so you can get in. Orrie
Kym says the 50 slots are full and there is a waitlist. She wants us to get there by 6:00 to take one of the 11 slots up close.
I did not mean to sound condescending. Let me rephrase: I would love to hang out with you guys, and meet the Treffen crowd, and see how it compares to the Raduno crowd. Unfortunately, I have made a prior commitment, and I will not be able to make it. JM
Hopefully, we can get together another time. Have a good time in Vegas. Check out the cars on the lower floor at the Wynn. I went in March and there was a pretty good selection. Nate
