Found this over on Corvetteforum.com.. Can anyone confirm if this event is a go? http://forums.corvetteforum.com/southeast/2830694-cars-and-coffee-meet-in-nola.html Flyer: http://static.iamfloyd.com/albums/misc/cars_coffee__.jpg
It's a go for sure... Attendance seems like it's going to be everything from Hyundai to exotics with a % TBD. It's posted on a couple of New Orleans area street racing and drag racing sites, so no telling how it will go. I'd really like to see it work though. If anyone wants to ride down from Mandeville, we will meet at the Rouses and Starbucks on E approach
Cool; hope it's a success and a recurring event. Posted to save some a click. Also, somewhat relevant, below is a vintage 911 I spotted in the area last Dec. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is the actual flyer for the event, this event has been setup by myself and a buddy of mine. Hope to see many of yall out there for a great turnout and successful event. Thanks Jeremy
Oh wow, I live on Robert E. Lee Blvd literally 5 houses down from Chateau. Who all from here is going? I have a pool! Post gathering grill-out?!
Also we own zachary's grill and bar around the corner, so its always an option for after to grab a beer and some food!
I'll be returning from vacation the day prior, but I definately plan on making it out. I work in that area and eat lunch at Chateau or pick up a salad from Robert's on a regular basis. If anybody is making the drive in from the Hammond area let me know.
We are hoping to do this once a month! Guys get there early this is getting large than expected! We are seeing about 100+ woorthy vehicles and 300+ people at this point. We have reserved 32 spots and about another 32 should be easy to get to ourselves. So get there early and reserve a spot for your chariot.
So you are expecting 100 vehicles but there are only 32 parking spots reserved with another 32 possibly available? Where are the excess cars supposed to park?
the parking lot can hold probably 300 cars, we can only actually block off 32 to 64 but the parking lot is open to whoever wants to join. That parking lot will have maybe 20 other cars in it on a sunday so there should be no issue.
Think we should try Cabela's instead of the usual meet spot to try and get out easier and stay together?
Want to also add that if that strip-mall hasn't changed since the storm, there are a few LONG rows behind the building to park as well.
I should be taking a clients Ford GT to the event (Fitting for flier cover haha). I am also in search of hopefully a black vehicle or dark to display my work as well (any takers lol ). I may also get my truck out there as well. Look forward to meeting everyone!
