Hello, I would like to get some opinions on A.) Which type is the best, dry chem.,haylon, CO-2. B) what size bottle, C) best place to mount it. in my 328 GTS. I recently read a thread here about someone who had a fire due to raw fuel being dumped into the catalytic converters, due to a distributor problem and am now concerned about the possibility in my car. Thanks, Will

Find a Halon 1211 (good luck, check the web) or a Halotron unit at your nearest Fire Safety store - I bought a 2.5 Lb Halotron locally for less than $100 out-the-door. Griots Garage wants over $150 for the same unit, but with chrome paint. Mine came stock in Ferrari Red, so....

I purchased my Halon extinguisher from Stable Energies: http://www.stableenergies.com/home.asp Ask for Laurette.
