Sort of related to a comment made in another thread about how the internet provides a place for people who know nothing to sound like they know something...

Ran across a video with a test drive of a 328. Toward the beginning of the video the Ferrari "expert" confirms the tester's statement that the 328's body is aluminum and that it replaced the fiberglass body of the 308. It makes it "clear" to anyone who may be watching that all 308 bodies were fiberglass and all 328s are AL. I am no expert on Ferrari body material but I do know that magnets don't stick to AL so either my particular 328 was completely rebodied by someone in steel or the the guy talking has no idea what he's saying. I'm going to conclude that the magnet knows better! I find it sad that the great thing about the internet is that there is a lot of information...much of it totally wrong.

The video is by "Press Pass TV." [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucWI8ryMLdM[/ame]

Was that "New Auto Toy Store" I saw flash up on the screen? Why do I seem to recall warnings to stay away from that place?

    What a knucklehead...

Early 308s were 'glass of course, then all the rest steel, with the exception of ONE 328 that was custom fabricated with an aluminum body.

The current owner is a Fchatter here...

Oh, but it was posted on the internet... so it MUST be true!!!! Yeah, right. Lame story, but cool hearing the car and seeing it run that red light at the beginning.

I've seen that one -- really wretched. Either do the research or just say "we have a pretty to car to sell" and do a few shots of the horse emblem.

Wait does it have ABS or not??? I'm confused :) They mention the ABS upgrade in the middle, then at the end say its a pure sports car because it doesnt have traction control or ABS.
I'm gonna go out and burn my 308 now because they got it all wrong and go get me "THAT" 328 since it looks like its for sale. lol
