Do a search, there is NO average. Different shops do things very differently from each other. Some will be parts swappers, others can be overboard, also a lot of additional work is normally carried out at the same time. I see Bradan always upsell the interior and exterior work and it looks like they achieve a fantastic finish. I and others are purely mechanical, I give the cars a thorough clean before delivery after service by the book, all I got time for.
The 355 in these pictures is mine. If you go to the Bradan web site you will see that they have the price list for the service posted with decent detail. If you call to speak with them they will gladly "fill in the blanks" as to what their service includes that would otherwise be too much to post. They do not "upsell" their services. They test drive the car, and go over the cosmetics and let you know what it will cost to attend to them. They were not the least bit pushy and they were most competitive on pricing. I chose to not do some of the items with them and it was no issue at all. I guess if you don't want the "paint correction" etc. that they include with their major service you could ask, or go to another shop, but I personally like the total satisfaction approach.
Sweet pics... and thanks for these threads, they are MUCH appreciated. Details are the interesting parts, I look forward to the nitty gritty.
